Smashed Blueberry - On Shelves Now

Smashed Blueberry is the newest beer in Shipyard Brewing Company's Pugsley's Signature Series line.

This beer is a hybrid between a Porter and a Scotch Ale. This beer has a rich mouth feel and a body of complex intensity. Upfront, there are distinct flavors of coffee and chocolate beautifully accentuated by the aroma of fresh blueberries. The finish features a delicate balance of sweet fruit and dry hops.

Pugsley’s Signature Series is named after Shipyard Brewing Company’s master brewer, Alan Pugsley. Alan is from England where he worked with Peter Austin at the world-famous Ringwood Brewery before moving to the U.S. in 1986. Since then, Pugsley has assisted with the establishment of more than 65 brewpubs and microbreweries throughout the world. To fully experience all the flavors, these ales are best drunk at 55 degrees Fahrenheit.

Free movie night at the Regatta in Eliot, Maine

FREE MOVIE NIGHT! April 12 join us at The Regatta Banquet & Conference Center in Eliot, Maine at 7:00pm for a free screening of "The Great Locomotive Chase" on the big screen.

This is a Disney movie starring Fess Parker -- of Daniel Boone and Davey Crockett fame.

It is a true story from the Civil War about the North stealing a confederate train and being pursued by a confederate train. This actual event took place on April 12, 1862. So we are playing the movie on the 149th anniversary.
