The blog DAILY BEER REVIEW is most enjoyable to read. The author obviously loves his beer, and his critiques are honest but not, "overly snotty or pretentious," as he puts it.His July review focuses on Shipyard Brewing's XXXX IPA, part of the Pugsley's Signature Series. The series features big beers, with strong flavors and generally high alcohol content. The XXXX is 9.25%.
Although he admits to not being a huge fan of Shipyard ales, this certainly made an impression. He writes, " Good carbonation, great flavors, and I'm pretty sure this is my favorite Shipyard beer by a mile."
